After PDP’s Guber Loss in Sokoto, Tambuwal Wins Senate Election
POLITICS DIGEST- Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has been declared winner of the Sokoto south senatorial district election.

The returning officer, Abubakar Bagudu, who announced the results, said the governor garnered 100,860 votes to win the election.
Tambuwal defeated Danbaba Dambuwa, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 95,884 votes to lose his re-election bid.
