AHEAD OF 2023: Atiku Visits Wike in Abuja

Former Vice President and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has visited Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, in his Abuja residence, Politics Digest reports.

The Wazirin Adamawa emerged as PDP presidential flagbearer last Saturday after defeating Wike during the main opposition’s primaries in Abuja.
He polled 371 votes to trounce the Rivers State Governor who garnered 237 votes, at the convention.
Atiku, on his verified Facebook account, said visiting Wike is part of his commitment to bringing everyone on board, to ensure that PDP stands as one united party.
“And this is a continuous process,” he added.
