Aliyu To Sokoto State Govt: Stop Withholding Workers Salaries For Not Supporting PDP
POLITICS DIGEST- The All progressives Congress gubernatorial Flag bearer in sokoto state Ahmed Aliyu sokoto has urged the sokoto State PDP led government to stop whichunting workers for not supporting PDP.
He dropped this hint while speaking at the graduation ceremony of female trainees under Buhari na malam foundation skills acquisition programme in sokoto.
Alhaji Aliyu described the way and manner government continues to withold workers salary for not supporting the PDP in the state as not only wickedness but in human as well.
He wondered why a government that has failed to meet the yearning and aspiration of it’s citizens in the last eight years now hell bent that workers must support it’s candidates or lose their salaries.
This act he said contravenes the provision of right to association as enshrined in the nation’s constitution.
To this end,the APC governorship candidate called on the sokoto State government to immediately stop whichunting civil servants and the illegal witholding of their salaries.

He also expressed worries over the way the State government handles payment of salaries which no longer comes simultaneously as was the case during the previous administration in the state.
“Payment of salaries in sokoto is now done in phases because of reckless spending by the state officials which has resulted to inadequate funds in government coffers”He added
He further said sokoto state has witnessed a serious under development in the last seven years as a result of pdp mis rule.
Alhaji Aliyu further re stated that if elected as governor come 2023, local government counciils will have their full autonomy for them to function effectively.
He also vowed to resuscitate the state neighborhood initiative, the skill acquisition programme as well as the monthly stipends given to the physically challanged person’s introduced by wamakko administration.
This according to him is part of measures aimed at checking redundancy and restiveness in the state.
He announced a donation of one million naira to female trainees under Buhari na malam foundation skills acquisition programme.
In his address the proprietor of the foundation, Alhaji Buhari na Malam,said the gesture is aimed at giving women some skills with a view to making them self reliant.
This he added is part of his contributions to women folks considering their vulnerability.
He further re started commitment towards ensuring the success of APC in all and elections.
