Amaechi’s Associate, Lloyd, Decamps to PDP
POLITICS DIGEST – A former leader of Rivers State House of Assembly, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, has dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.

Lloyd, an ally to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, announced his decision when he was formally received at the Government House, Port Harcourt by Governor Nyesom Wike, and some PDP leaders on Monday.
The former House leader also apologised for the crisis that took place at the State House of Assembly in 2013.
“I, Hon. Dr. Chidi Julius Lloyd, on behalf of my family, tender an unreserved apology, to Your Excellency, Hon. Micheal Chinda and to the good people of Rivers State for the events of July 9, 2013.
