2023: Ango Abdullahi’s Son Clinches PDP Reps Ticket from Kidnappers’ Den
POLITICS DIGEST- Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, a son to the convener of Northern Elders Forum, NEF, Ango Abdullahi, has won the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primaries for the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, ahead of next year’s general elections.

Sadiq, garnered 28 votes to defeat Hadiza Muhammad, Salisu Abdulhamid and Misis Paulina, his three closest challengers.
Come February 2023, he will fly the PDP’s flag in the election for the seat of the Sabon Gari federal constituency.
Sadiq, was one of the passengers abducted on a Kaduna-Abuja train, in March this year.
Although some media reports said Sadiq has been freed, his father told Daily Trust that he is still held in captivity.
Ango Abdullahi, a former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, in Zaria, said he is praying that his son will be released soon.
