Ansar-UD-Deen Ramadan Committee Chairman Celebrates Birthday, Nurturing Bonds with Feeding Program

In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity and compassion, Alhaji Ismail Omipidan, Chairman of the Ramadan Feeding Program Committee for the Ansar-UD-Deen Society of Nigeria Abuja chapter, marked his birthday by joining Muslim colleagues, family, and friends in breaking their fast during the ongoing Ramadan festivities.
The event, held at the Ansar-UD-Deen central mosque in Abuja, brought together hundreds of individuals to partake in the tradition of ‘Iftar’, the communal breaking of fast, on Wednesday.
Notably, the celebration coincided with the 24th day of the Ramadan feeding program, demonstrating the enduring commitment of the community to serving those in need.

Recall that the Abuja branch of the Ansar-UD-Deen mosque allocated 29 million Naira for the 2024 Iftar feeding program.
Under the leadership of the chairman Omipidan, the committee successfully raised over 20 million Naira, earmarked for the initiative titled ‘Feed The Fasting Muslim 1445AH (2024)’.
The program, designed to provide sustenance for those observing the fast during Ramadan, has thus far served over 12,000 individuals, with a daily target of 500 beneficiaries and a budget of 3,000 Naira per person.
Each day, participants are treated to two nutritious meals, accompanied by fruits, bottled water, and takeaway provisions, ensuring that their nutritional needs are met with dignity and care.
‘Feed The Fasting Muslim’ stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Ansar-UD-Deen Society of Nigeria Abuja chapter to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and community solidarity.
Beyond addressing the immediate needs of those facing food insecurity, the program serves as a beacon of hope and unity, fostering peace and harmony within the Muslim Ummah.
