Senator Anyanwu Warns Against Destructive Criticism, Hate Speech
POLITICS DIGEST – Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has frowned at the rate in which destructive criticism was gaining ground in the society, saying that such act jeopardizes the development of the state.
Senator Anyanwu therefore described fake news and hate speech as worse than Boko Haram, adding that the society was not prepared to entertain such deceit now that insecurity is high.
Anyanwu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Imo state noted that the tension in the society today was triggered by fake news, appealing to relevant authorities to expedite action to nip the ugly trend in the bud.

He urged anyone involved in such dastardly act to desist, while calling on them to join hands to improve the state through constructive criticism.
The Amaimo Ikeduru born Lawmaker therefore commended the state government for given roads within the state capital a face lift, and appealed for its sustenance.
He maintained that as a stakeholder in the Imo project, he would not hesitate to applaud government when she does anything good, and in like manner criticize her where she is getting it wrong.
Anyanwu, therefore called for the understanding of government’s programmes, advising the present administration in the state to always be available to explain issues directed to her as it concerns the masses with maturity, rather than dropping names.
