I am APC Acting Chairman – Governor Bello Declares

In a dramatic move, the Governor of Niger state, Abubakar Sani Bello, has declared himself the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Bello who had stormed the party’s headquarters to take over from Mai Mala Buni who was allegedly fired by President Muhamadu Buhari briefly met with new state chairmen on Monday.

He however did not perform the inauguration of the sub-committees that was earlier scheduled for the day.
Some APC governors, Yahaya Bello, Babajide Sanwolu, Hope Uzodinma and Dapo Abiodun of Kogi, Lagos, Imo and Ogun respectively came for the inauguration but Governor Bello had already left the premises before they came in.
Politics Digest reported that President Buhari allegedly gave the directives for Governor Bello to take over from Buni to organize the party’s national convention.
While Buni is said to be out of the country for medical reasons, the secretary, John Akpanudoedehe, was seen with the new acting chairman.
