APC Chieftain Endorses Bello’s Women Empowerment Policies, Pledges Support

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Women Leader, Dr. Betty Edu, has extolled the policy of ‘women inclusion’ in Kogi politics, by Governor Yahaya Bello.

The APC National Women Leader, while describing Governor Bello as a ‘women-friendly Governor,’ said their APC women wing will consider presidential aspirant that supports and promote women.
She said, “We will be working with the Kogi State Governor to empower women in the market, after they must have shown their voters card and APC membership card.
“We will also be empowering women in all the state, but Kogi will be first on the list”.
Earlier in her remarks, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Kogi, said Governor Bello is not only women inclusive, has evidenced in the number of women in his cabinet, but also loves to give women relevance.
Ayoade, disclosed that Kogi is the only State that has so far established a Disability Commission, in the country.
