APC Congratulates Uzodinma, Ododo on Election Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma, on his re-election as Executive Governor of Imo State, and Usman Ododo on his emergence as Governor-Elect of Kogi state.
Commending the electorates of Kogi and Imo, Felix Morka, APC National Publicity Secretary, on Monday said that, the landslide victories recorded at the just-concluded gubernatorial polls in both states attest to the good work of APC-led administrations.

The party further commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for professionally discharging their constitutional duties during the elections in both states.
“We are confident that Governor Uzodinma will consolidate and extend the impressive accomplishments of his first term in Imo state, while Usman Ododo, on his part, will build on the solid record of the outgoing APC-administration in Kogi state,” Morka said.
INEC, had on Sunday declared both Uzodinma and Ododo of APC, winners of the off – cycle gubernatorial elections in Imo and Kogi state respectively.
Uzodinma won in all 27 local government areas of the state polling 540,308 votes, while Ododo polled 446,237, to defeat his closest rival, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, of the Social Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 259,052.
