APC crises: Ganduje, Shekarau factions set to reconcile.

There are strong indications that the two All Progressives Congress (APC) factions led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau in Kano state would soon settle their differences and reconcile.
This is as the Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) hosted the two factions in Abuja for a reconciliation meeting.

The meeting which lasted for about six hours had Governor Ganduje leading one section and Senator Shekarau leading the other faction.
While receiving briefings and proposals from the two factions, the national leadership of the APC promised to study all the proposals tabled at the meeting and take a definite stand that will be communicated to the two parties at another meeting to be convened soon.
Politics Digest had earlier reported how Kano and Sokoto states were left out from state chairmen inauguration which took place on Thursday at the party secretariat in Abuja.
The decision to leave the two states unattended to was not unconnected to the crises in the state chapters of the party.
