APC govt has failed, will lose Ekiti gov election – Olujimi
POLITICS DIGEST- The Senator representing Ekiti South, Biodun Olujimi, on Sunday, said judging by the performance of the All Progressives Congress, especially at the federal level, the party will lose the governorship election in the state.
Olujimi spoke in Omuo Ekiti, in Ekiti East Local Government Area, while declaring her intention to contest next year’s governorship election in the state.
The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, “We (PDP) will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress if our party does not put a wrong foot forward by electing the wrong candidate as the flagbearer.

Judging by the performance of the APC, especially at the centre which has brought untold hardship on people, the PDP has an edge going into the election.”
Olujimi argued that heaven would not fall if she emerged the first female elected governor in Nigeria, adding that “ I have all it takes to govern Ekiti State considering my capacity and rich political experience as a former National Publicity Secretary of defunct All Peoples Party, Special Adviser, Deputy Governor, Commissioner, Deputy Senate Minority Leader and Minority Leader.
My intention is borne out of compassion to uplift my people from the poverty line, see how we can change the narratives by giving them a new lease of life in such a way that they will live a meaningful life.”
