APC Postpones Inauguration Of Tinubu Campaign Council
POLITICS DIGEST – The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday night announced the postponement of the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu.
The inauguration which was earlier fixed for Monday (today) has been shifted to Wednesday, September 28.
This is coming amidst the differences between members of the party’s National Working Committee and Tinubu’s camp over the constitution of the presidential campaign council members.
The Director of Media and Publicity for the camp council, Bayo Onanuga announced the postponement in a statement released on Sunday.

According to Onanuga, members of the campaign council are expected to report to the campaign headquarters on Wednesday.
He further stated that the campaign council members are expected to participate in the special prayer sessions marking the commencement of the presidential election campaigns.
Onanuga noted that there would be a peace walk after the prayers; all nominees would be issued their letters of appointment on the same day.
He said, “We know this is a call to serve the great party that will demand total commitment and sacrifice from all of us.
“It is the council’s strong belief that all members will work hard to deliver a resounding victory for our great party in the 2023 presidential election.”
