APC’S Ibrahim Lamido Wins Sokoto East Senatorial Poll
POLITICS DIGEST – The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Sokoto East, Ibrahim Lamido, has emerged winner of the election conducted on Saturday.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Lamido polled 112,764 votes to defeat People’s Democratic Party (PDP’s) Gobir who scored 107,834 votes.
With this latest addition, the APC is maintaining a simple majority in the upcoming 10th Senate with 61 senators.
