The Supreme Court which commenced hearing on the appeals by opposition parties on Monday chastised the counsel to APM for bringing a frivolous appeal on an issue already decided by the apex court.
The APM had sought the disqualification of President Tinubu over the alleged wrongful nomination of Vice President Kashim Shettima to run with him.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) had dismissed the case, saying it was a matter that had been decided by the apex court in favour of Shettima.
President Tinubu and his legal team are now left with appeals filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) at the Supreme Court.
