Appeal Court Affirmed Abdulmumin Jibrin’s Election As Rep’s Member
A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has affirmed the election of Abdulmumin Jibrin of the New Nigeria Peoples Party as the winner of the Kiru/Bebeji House of Representatives election.

The court dismissed the Appeal filed by Muhammad Sanusi Saidu Kiru challenging the victory of Jibrin for lacking in merit and sufficient evidence.
It would be recalled that a Tribunal sitting in Kano led by Justice Flora Azinge upheld the election of Jibrin over the failure of the petitioner to present convincing evidence before the court.
