Appeal Court Upholds Candidature of Young Politician, Rukayat Shittu
POLITICS DIGEST- The candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Owode Onire state constituency, Rukayat Shittu has reacted to the judgement of appeal court, granting her victory over the disputed primary election.
The sensational young politician, in a short brief chat after the court judgment stated that, there’s no winner or loser in the matter and that all APC members are the same family.
According to her, I consider my opponent as a father and see everyone around him as my people.

Rukayat further charged the party faithful to put their hands together on the desk and work together to deliver APC In the 2023 general election, while she appreciated the support of all.
Recall that the court of appeal has declared that 26 year old Rukayat Shittu is the legitimate candidate for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Owode Onire state constituency for the Kwara State House of Assembly.
The Court of Appeal threw out the case of her challenger, Ayinde Alajere for lacking merit.
Rukayat, who is the first female senate president at the Congress of National Open University of Nigeria Students won the APC primary election for Owode Onire to represent the constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
