Bandits Kill Varsity DVC While Traveling to Kaduna
POLITICS DIGEST – Bandits have killed the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Development of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), Professor Yusuf Sa’idu.
According to the post made by the institution on its Facebook Page, the Professor was attacked and killed on his way to Kaduna from Sokoto State.
“The death has occurred of Professor Yusuf Sai’du the current Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Innovation and Development Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
“He was attacked and killed by Bandits on his way to Kaduna from Sokoto state.
“A man of integrity, religion, dedication and courage.

Also announcing on his Facebook page, NOUN’s Director of media and publicity, Ibrahim Sheme, stated that the lecturer was attacked around Kucheri town between Zamfara and Katsina State.
“Bandits around Kucheri town near the Zamfara State and Katsina State border have attacked and killed Professor Yusuf Sa’idu, DVC Research, Innovation and Development, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). May his soul rest in peace, amen,” he posted.
