All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and member of the National Working Committee (NWC), Hon. Tolu Bankole, has felicitated with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his inauguration as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Tinubu took the oath of office on Monday, at the Eagle square, in the presence of former President Muhammadu Buhari, past presidents and world leaders.
Bankole, in a statement titled “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR: Era of Renewed Hope”, congratulated Vice-President Kashim Shettima for being a part of history and the astute team who will deliver on the Renewed Hope in the next four years.
Bankole enjoined Nigerians to see the newly inaugurated President as the hope for transformation and prosperity.
“The elections are over despite the ongoing legal tussle and the task ahead is so enormous than to continue unpatriotic rhetorics capable of distracting the new administration. All hands must be on deck to unite the country, deliver on security, power, economy, health, employment, education and other sectors in a timely, prosperous, equitable and inclusive manner”. “The President must ensure that all those whose stock in trade is hanging around the corridors of power for ulterior motives and eye service don’t get recognition this time around. The new administration has its job cut out, first has to be assembling round pegs in round holes without sacrificing federal character and inclusive of persons with disabilities, youths and women.
“Finally, the government must deliberately put in place policies that will reduce and eradicate poverty.” Bankole said.
