Bauchi: Gov Mohammed Unveils Policies to Ameliorates Economic Hardship

The Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has reiterated the commitment of the administration to introduce policies and programmes that will alleviate the sufferings of the people of the state as a result of the current economic hardship being experienced in the country.
Governor Bala Mohammad stated this on Tuesday while flagging off the dualization of the 2.6 km Jama’re township road in the Jama’are local government area of the state in continuation of his inauguration of road construction projects in some parts of the state.
The governor who expressed concern over the rising price of essential commodities in the nation, lamented that the situation has subjected the citizens of the state into untold hardship.
He assured that his administration is determined to introduce measures that would improve commercial activities to meet the trying moment.

According to Bala Mohammed, the ongoing construction of rural roads is aimed at connecting communities to their farmlands and enabling the smooth movement of goods and services.
While charging the construction firm to ensure the timely completion of the project, the governor directed the State Ministry of Education to immediately fence the government secondary school Jama’re even as he urged the people of Jama’are Emirate to cooperate with the contractors handling the project in the area to facilitate timely and successful completion.
Also Speaking, the State Commissioner of Works and Transport, Hon Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, and the Representative of Mother CAT Nigeria LTD, Engineer Khadi Game assured the governor that they will work tirelessly to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Responding on behalf of the benefiting communities, the Emir of Jama’are Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Wabi commended the Governor for the project and pledged readiness to support all policies aimed at improving the well-being of people.
