Be a Good Ambassador of Kano – Ganduje Charges Jibrin
POLITICS DIGEST – Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has expressed his appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Hon. Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa as the Executive Director, Business Development, in charge of Commercial, Corporate and Social Housing of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).
The governor made the call when he received the former lawmaker at Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, he was at the Lodge to thank and convey the good development to the governor, with the appointment letter.
Governor Ganduje advised the new appointee to represent Kano very well.
He described the appointment as timely and also urged the appointee to be hardworking and diligent in the discharge of his responsibility.

“On behalf of the government and people of Kano state, I am commending the President for this. While assuring that, Hon. Abdulmumini Kofa will be diligent, hard working and committed to government’s housing policy, which is geared towards global best practice,” governor Ganduje insisted.
“Be a good Ambassador there and make sure that Kano state becomes happy with your representation. That shows responsible and responsive representation. Make sure that you strengthen federal government policy on housing,” says Ganduje.
Kofa assured that he would be a good Ambassador of the state, emphasising that, “Your Excellency Sir I am assuring you that you will not find me wanting in this all-important national assignment. I will do my best to deliver to all Nigerians.”
The appointment is for an initial term of 4 years, with effect from 16th July, 2020.
