BREAKING: Bandits abduct over 30 FGC students in Kebbi
POLITICS DIGEST – Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted several students from the Federal Government College in Yawuri, Kebbi State.
An eyewitness said that the gunmen overpowered police guarding the school and confiscated a Toyota Hilux, dumped the students and took them away.
Some people say many students have been taken to hospital for gunshot wounds as a result of injuries sustained while fleeing the bandits’ attacks.

The attackers, who rode on motorcycles were said to have stormed the school from the neighboring Rijau forest.
At least 30 students and three teachers were abducted, according to security sources.
The lawmaker representing the area at the National Assembly Muhammad Bello Ingaski told the BBC that gunmen abducted male and female students around noon on Thursday.
The gunmen “beat up” more than 20 Mobile police officers guarding the school and shooting others,” said Muhammad Bello Ingaski.
