The presiding judge, Justice Lewis Allagoa on Monday also restrains the inspector general of police and the Independent National electoral commission INEC from partaking in or endorsing the congresses until the final determination of the suit filed by one Ali Baffa and two others for being excluded from the ward congress of the party.
The judge said parties joined in the suit failed to show cause why the order should not be granted and adjourned the matter to September 22 for hearing in the substantive motions.
Since the defection of former chairman of the party Rabiu Suleman Bichi to the APC, battle of supremacy and control of the party machinery between factions of former governor Rabiu kwankwaso and former foreign affairs minister Aminu Wali has worsened.
