Buhari Felicitates with Babangida at 80
POLITICS DIGEST- President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, as he marks his 80th birthday.

The president, in a release issued on Monday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, sent birthday greetings to former President Babangida, wishing him a “long and healthy life”, as he marks the birthday.
President Buhari noted that himself and Babangida, as former military commanders during the war, both retiring as Generals, have mutual interests, great hopes and expectations in a strong and united Nigeria.
He expressed hope that privileged Nigerians like President Babangida and others like himself will recommit to ongoing efforts to help the nation to reach more glory, progress and prosperity.
