Buhari Okays Biu’s Appointment as FRSC Acting Boss

POLITICS DIGEST- President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dauda Biu, as the Acting Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), following the retirement of Boboye Oyeyemi.
Mr Oyeyemi, disclosed this when he handed over to Biu at the FRSC headquarters on Monday in Abuja.

A statement by the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM), Bisi Kazeem, said that Mr. Biu’s appointment took effect from July 24, even as Mr. President wished the acting FRSC boss a successful tenure in office.
At the handing over ceremony, Bukhari Bello, the FRSC Board Chairman, congratulated Biu on his appointment, urging him to justify his appointment.
Bello said the immediate-past Corps Marshal had laid a good foundation for the Corps, thus Biu must continue from where his predecessor stopped.
Before his new appointment, Biu was the Deputy Corps Marshal, Finance and Accounts, at the FRSC headquarters.
