Buhari swears in ICPC, NPC commissioners
POLITICS DIGEST- President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday in Abuja administered the oath of office to new commissioners of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission and the National Population Commission.
Buhari sworn in the 10 commissioners who were confirmed by the senate in March shortly before the weekly virtual Federal Executive Council meeting held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa Abuja.
The commissioners of the ICPC include Assistant Inspector General of Police Olugbenga Adeyanju, retd. (Ekiti State), Anthony Agbo (Ebonyi), Anne Odey (Cross River), Goni Gujba (Yobe), and Dr Louis Mandama (Adamawa).

The commissioners of the NPC include Benedict Effiong (Akwa Ibom), Mrs. Gloria Izonfo (Bayelsa), Kupchi Iyanya (Benue), Dr. Haliru Bala (Kebbi), and Dr. Eyitayo Oyetunji (Oyo).
Shortly after, the President proceeded into the agenda of the weekly FEC meeting.
Those who physically attended the meeting include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari and National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno (retd.).
Ministers in attendance are Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige; Agriculture, Mahmud Abubakar; Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi; Power, Abubakar Aliyu; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Water Resources; Suleiman Adamu; Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu and the Minister of State for Health, Olorunimbe Mammora.
Ministers of state and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, joined virtually from their respective offices in Abuja.
