Committee to Screen PDP Governorship Running Mates Wednesday

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has concluded plans for screening candidates nominated as running mates to its governorship flag-bearers in the 2023 general elections.
According to Debo Ologunagba, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, the screening exercise will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
It is mandatory for all nominated Deputy Gubernatorial candidates, he said.
It will be held at the National Secretariat of the PDP, a statement by Ologunagba indicates.

The statement reads in part: “Pursuant to the provision of Part V, Paragraph 11 of the Electoral Guidelines of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the National Working Committee (NWC) has approved the nomination of the following Party Stakeholders to serve on the Deputy Governorship Candidate Screening Committee for the purpose of the screening/verifying the nominated Deputy Governorship Candidates of our Party in all the 28 (twenty-eight) States where Governorship elections are scheduled.
