Task Force Denies Coronavirus Case in Kano Airport
POLITICS DIGEST – Kano state Government has debunked rumours of a suspected Coronavirus case at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, (MAKIA) Kano on Tuesday morning) Kano has been denied.
It was gathered in a video that has been trending on Social Media that the suspected patient arrived the state aboard Air Peace and landed at MAKIA at about 8.04 am on Tuesday.

Debunking the rumour, the Co-Chair of Kano State Task Force on COVID-19, Prof. AbdulRazak Habib said the patient is not a suspected case as a preliminary test run on him test negative.
He added the the suspect does not have the symptoms of COVID-19.
“The case is a young man of 17-years old and a first-timer boarding aircraft. Hence the boy boarded the aircraft for the first time and developed phobia,’’said Prof. Habib.
It was gathered that the pilot of the plane before landing notified the airport of a sick passenger on board.
Subsequently upon landing the patient was said to have vomited.
He was later rushed to the airport terminal II (Isolation Centre) by the medical team at the airport
