N/Delta Group Condemns Plot to Remove Akpabio
POLITICS DIGEST – A group, 21st century youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience, CYNDAC, has condemned in very strong terms alleged plots to remove Senator Godswill Akpabio as President of the Senate.
It also warned that any attempt to carry out the act it described as devilish, would only bring economic and humanitarian catastrophy to Nigeria.
In a statement by the leader, Izon Ebi, the group vowed that as people of the Niger Delta, they were fully prepared for the designers of the gimmick.
He said: “We are warning you people to stop it now and find yourself another business. We are fully aware that the Niger Delta is the source of the national budget funding and as such deserves more respect from all corners of this nation.

“The 21st Century Youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience ( 21st CYNDAC), the voice of the Niger Delta youths, stakeholders and traditional rulers, has frowned on another plot to impeach the Senate president, Senator Godswill Akpabio, even as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has come out to exonerate him of wrongdoings.
“These democratic coup plotters started with the allegation of budget padding to spew propaganda that is solely for the purpose of bringing down the Senate president. I think some northerners are becoming too addicted to this old-fashioned drama”, the statement read.
