In Delta, Police Burst Baby Factory, Rescue Victims

The police in Delta State has reportedly bursted a syndicate of baby factory in Obodogba community Okpanam near Asaba, the Delta state capital, and rescued three expectant women in the process.

Two men that were said to be allegedly engaged in impregnating the women were arrested, the police said.
In a statement, Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe identified the suspects as Promise Ejogu, 25, and Aruna Suleiman, 29.
Edafe said one of the suspects who is a relative of the ring leader of the syndicate is now on the run.
He added that the suspects were in custody while efforts are on to arrest other members of the syndicate.
