Edo Guber: Agbohmere Promises to Deliver Good Governance

A governorship aspirant under the flagship of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo state, Blessing Agbohmere has said that the state will witness rapid development under his leadership.
Agbohmere who was the party’s zonal organizing secretary, South-South before joining the guber race also said that his patriotism witnessed in Edo will speak volume to his emergence.
Speaking to journalists at the party headquarters immediately after submitting his nomination and expression of interest form on Tuesday, Agbohmere revealed that only God gives power.

He said “For me, it is not a do or die for me. Because if I apply for a job in an office and I am hired, I will be grateful and I will work to the best of my ability to serve. But, if I am not employed, I will not break or kill the office because of anybody. I will go and look for another job. And don’t forget I have been doing well for myself as a private individual. I have never been in any government position.
“So contesting today, it is because I am pregnant with ideas. And I have seen Edo people complaining about misgovernance and bad government. So I am offering myself to say I have the ability, capacity to deliver the dividends to Edo people if given the opportunity. I am asking again to work for Edo people. So if I am hired to God be the glory, I will work for Edo people.
”I don’t think I am afraid of any of these stories. I have read so many stories. That’s why I tagged my campaign no man is God. The truth of the matter is that Edo is one big family,” Agbohmere said.
