Election Update: Voters Stranded at Polling Unit 018 Apo Legislative Quarters

Hundreds of voters are stranded at the Apo Legislative Quarters, polling unit 018, Abuja, as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials are not in sight.
Although, some of the electoral officials arrived at exactly 11:00am, they later realised it was a wrong polling unit, and left immediately.

One of the voters, Mr Ekpe expressed his grievances, saying that, it was a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise them.
He said: “We are not going anywhere, anytime they arrive, we must vote and nobody can stop that.”
Even though, election is expected to commence at exactly 9:00 am after accreditation has been done, some of the polling units have already commenced voting, while others are still waiting for INEC Officials.
