Six agents of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who earlier declined to keep an eye on the voting exercise at the Utako Primary School Polling Unit, have agreed to perform their roles as agents for the ruling party.
Politics Digest earlier reported that the agents shunned discharging their duties at the polling unit , over non-payment of their election duty allowance.
The agents, who arrived the Primary School, left as soon as the accreditation of voters began in the morning, it was learnt.

One of them, Mubarak Aliyu, told our Politics Digest correspondent that they are six that were deployed to serve as APC agents at the two polling units in the School.
Aliyu, however, expressed regret that their ruling party did not pay them (money) for the monitoring job they were deployed for.
“Our party leaders didn’t give us anything for this work. Hence, we are leaving,” he said.
But about two hours later, one of them who sought anonymity told Politics Digest that, “We have been here since morning. Yet, no food or water was given to us. Money was also not given to us.”
The agent further explained that they later entered into an agreement with some of their top APC officials, that their money should be transferred to their respective bank accounts.
