Emir of Karaye Appoints Kwankwaso’s Brother As District Head
POLITICS DIGEST– The Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has conferred Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso (Baba) with the title of Makaman Karaye and District Head of Madobi.
He is a member of the emirate council and Kingmaker respectively.
This was contained by the information officer of the emirate Haruna Gunduwawa and sent to newsmen on Thursday.
Gunduwawa said the appointment was recommended and approved at this year’s first meeting of the Karaye emirate council held yesterday Wednesday.
The meeting also applauded his Royal Highness for his foresight im honouring the family of late Makama of Karaye.

While congratulating the new Makama, he enjoined him to continue from where his late father stopped. Adding that, late Musa Saleh Kwankwaso was a complete gentleman, Loyal, just and peace lover and Committed lead who champoined the course of his people.
Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso ( Baba) who is a Junior brother of former Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso inherited his Late father Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso who died recently at the age of 93.
A national Diploma holder in building engineering Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso, was born in the year 1964 and until the appointment is the Village Head of Kwankwaso in Madobi local government area.
The new Makama of Karaye has been representing his Late father in Royal activities including in the Karaye Emir’s palace for over twenty years.
The formal installation of the new Makama of Karaye would follow the blessings and approval of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to that effect
