FG Extends Eid-el-Fitr Public Holiday to Thursday
POLITICS DIGEST- The federal government has approved Thursday April 11 as an additional public holiday for this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Aishetu Ndayako, permanent secretary in the ministry of interior, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

Recall that POLITICS DIGEST reported on Sunday that the federal government declared Tuesday and Wednesday as public holiday for the celebration.
However, as fasting continues today and Eid-el-Fitr confirmed to be tomorrow, the federal government has decided to add Thursday to the holiday to allow Muslims who have fasted for thirty days to enjoy their sallah celebration.
