FBI Commences Registration For 2020 Contest
POLITICS DIGEST – Nigeria’s biggest tertiary institution creative platform in Integrated Marketing Communications industry, Future Brand Idol (FBI), has commenced registration for the second edition of her annual Future Brand Idol contest.
The registration for the contest which was opened on 2nd March will last till 18th of March 2020.
According to the Team lead, Abdullahi Ahmed, the 2020 contest is aimed at exposing the students’ participants and young professionals to opportunities in the Marketing Communications industry. “This year, we are set out to cover more schools and solve some of the challenges young professionals face in positioning for opportunities within the IMC industry, the theme for the 2020 contest will focus on exposing participants to the Problem-Solving Business of Marketing Communications,” he said.

It would be recalled that the 2019 edition of Future Brand Idol, awarded scholarships to four students offering the opportunity to study a course of their choice in two professional advertising schools in Nigeria. This was done through a partnership with 02 Academy and ID8 Academy.
Also, the previous edition which featured 84 entries from 11 institutions and had Mr. Lanre Adisa of Noah’s Ark Communications limited as the grand jury and other dignitaries drawn across agencies which include Seyi Owolawi (DDB Lagos), Jumoke Akinyele (Noah’s Ark), Bisi Aweda (Ideas House), Suzziete Ukey and Fekoferanmi Owolabi as jury members.
The event will also feature seminar and panel discussion between professionals and lecturers to discuss issues bordering on ensuring proper town-gown collaboration in preserving and preparing industry-ready graduates.
