FCC: Kwara Assembly Speaker Congratulates Dankaka, Kolo Over New Appointments
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kwara state House of Assembly speaker, Salihu Yakubu Danladi has congratulated Dr. Muheeba Fareeda Dankaka and James Kolo on their recent appointments as Chairman and Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) respectively.
President Muhammadu Buhari through a letter to the Nigeria Senate on Tuesday announced their appointments.
While Dr. Muheeba Farida Dankaka hails from Offa, Kwara South Senatorial District, Mr. James Kolo is of Patigi descent of the Northern Senatorial district of the State.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant, Media, Ibrahim Sheriff in Ilorin on Wednesday, Danladi described the duo as committed persons to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress and a better Kwara we can all be proud of”.
This, he said, was demonstrated in their active participation in the struggles culminating into the realized sociopolitical liberation of Kwara state.
“Our gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for his love and consideration of our illustrious sons and daughters to serve in strategic positions in his government, we will not take it for granted.”
“While our solidarity, prayers and best wishes are with the nominees, on behalf of the 9th Kwara Assembly, I indulge our Senators from Kwara state to rally round the nominees and ensure seamless confirmation of their nominations”, Danladi added.
The Speaker who expresses confidence in the capacity of the nominees to deliver efficiently in their new assignments, however charged them to maintain their commitment to the course of a truly progressive and prosperous Kwara state that works for all.
