Consider FCT Hausa-Fulani in COVID-19 Pallative, Group Urges FG
POLITICS DIGEST – The Hausa/Fulani communities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have called on the Federal Government to consider extending the COVID-19 palliatives to their members.
They made this call on Thursday in Abuja through a statement signed by its national coordinator and National Secretary, Alh. Mahmoud Mustapha Danfulani and Alh. Ahmed Danlami respectively.

The group under the umbrella of Hausa/Fulani Development Association which comprises of Hausa/Fulani speaking people residing in the FCT has been in existence for over a decade.
According to the statement, most of their members are artisan who rely on daily source income to take care of their families, but are now forced to stay at home due to the lockdown order by the government.
“The group said that the Federal Government should include through their leaders feature palliatives, recruitment of social worker which form feature plans of the Federal Government of Nigeria in order to cushion the effect.
“The association also decried being sidelined in the method used by the government for the distribution of the palliatives across the Federal capital”, the statement added.
