How Fubara Betrayed Wike After Becoming Rivers Governor – APC
POLITICS DIGEST – The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State chapter, Mr Tony Okocha has challenged the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara to come out and tell the world the causes of the lingering faceoffs between him and his predecessor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
Okocha threw the challenge to the Rivers State governor on Thursday during his appearance on the Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, monitored by POLITICS DIGEST.

According to him, the governor’s umpteenth reference of Wike as “my oga, my oga’ in most gatherings is nothing short of playing ‘the victim’s card’ if he can’t actually come out clean and tell the world what the problems are between him and his estranged boss.
Okocha also laughed off the rumours in some quarters, suggesting that the FCT minister is attempting to rule the state for the third term in proxy, adding that he (Wike) is busy bringing developmental strides to the people of the FCT, and have no time for ‘such maliciously peddled’ rumour.
He challenged those making such allegation to come with facts and figures to back up their claims.
He then said to the best of his knowledge, Governor Fubara reneged on the promises he had with Wike before becoming governor, even though he said he is not fully aware of the exact promises.
The Rivers APC boss also noted that Wike has been lamenting that Fubara is dismantling his political structures, challenging Governor Fubara again to come publicly and tell the world his own side of the story.
