BREAKING: Ganduje Names Kwankwaso, Garo, 18 Others as Commissioner-Nominees
POLITICS DIGEST – Kano State governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has released the list of the long awaited commissioner-nominees to the Kano state house of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The list, which was read by the Speaker of the House, Abdul’Azeez Garba Gafasa to the plenary Monday, seeks to reappoint Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Murtala Sule Garo, Kabiru Ibrahim Getso, Mohammed Garba and Dr Muhammad Tahir.

The governor also seeks to appoint Engr. Muazu Magaji, Barrister Ibrahim Muktar, Nura Mohammed Dakadai, Shehu Na’Allah kura, Dr. Zahara’u Umar, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, Sadiq Aminu Wali, Mohammed Bappa Takai and Kabiru Ado Lakwaya.
Others include Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye, Muktar Ishaq Yakasai, Mahmoud Muhammad, Muhammad Sunusi Saidu and Barrister Lawan Abdullahi musa.
This appointment of the nominees is coming five months after inauguration of Ganduje and affirmation of his victory by Kano Tribunal.
