Governor Bello Mourns Demise Of Dr. Shekarau Angyu Kuvyo II
POLITICS DIGEST – Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has mourned the demise of the Paramount and Supreme Ruler of Jukun Race and Chairman Taraba State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Majesty, Dr. Shekarau Angyu, Kuvyo II (CON) who passed away on Sunday at the age of 84
The Governor’s message was conveyed in press statement signed on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu where he described the death of the late king as a loss to the Nation
Governor Bello expressed that the Royal father was a renowned man of peace who led the Kwararafa Race for 45 years and brought remarkable peace and prosperity to it

While condoling with the people and government of Taraba State over the demise of the highly referred royal father, he noted that he would be greatly missed for his fatherly roles in the state, the North East Geopolitical Zone and the nation as a whole
The Governor similarly extended his condolences to the family of the late Royal Father noting that he lived a fulfilled life serving his people in the long years of his reign on the throne
while he prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal repose, he prayed also for God to grant the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss
His death was announced on Sunday in a Press Statement signed by the SA Media to Aku-Uka, Jolly Agbu Massa-IBB, where he noted that final traditional rites would be announced in due course.
