Our Dear Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda,
I will like to use this opportunity to congratulate you on your successful inauguration as the 6th Civilian Governor of our beloved Katsina State.
It is an honour and a privilege to serve the people of our great state, and we are confident that you will lead with integrity, transparency and dedication.
As citizens of Katsina, we have high hopes for your administration and the positive changes that you can bring to our communities. We believe that you will prioritize the interests of the people and work towards improving our standard of living.
In this letter, I will like to share with you our expectations from your administration. We hope that you will take our concerns and suggestions into consideration as you work towards building a better Katsina for all.
Firstly, we expect transparency and accountability in all government affairs. We want to be kept informed about your policies and decisions, and we want to be involved in the decision-making process. We hope that you will prioritize the interests of the people and work towards improving our standard of living.
One of the major challenges our state is facing is the issue of bad roads. The poor state of our roads not only causes inconvenience to commuters but also leads to accidents and loss of lives. We urge your administration to prioritize road construction and maintenance.
We recommend that you invest in modern technology and equipment for road construction and maintenance, as well as partner with private companies to ensure that our roads are of high quality.
We also recommend that you create a system for regular road maintenance and repair, to ensure that our roads are always in good condition. By addressing this issue, you will not only improve the quality of life for the people of Katsina but also attract investors and boost economic growth.
Another major issue that we face in Katsina is insecurity. The frequent incidents of kidnapping, banditry, and other criminal activities have caused fear and anxiety among citizens.
We urge your administration to prioritize security and take decisive action to address this issue. We recommend that you increase the number of security personnel in the state, as well as equip them with modern technology and equipment to tackle crime.
We also recommend that you establish a system for intelligence gathering and sharing, to enable security personnel to act proactively and prevent crime before it happens.
We also recommend that you engage in dialogue with community leaders and other stakeholders, to promote peace and understanding, and address the root causes of insecurity. By addressing this issue, you will ensure that the people of Katsina feel safe and secure in their homes and communities.
Another challenge we are facing in our educational system in Katsina is the lack of serious teachers. Many of our public schools lack qualified and dedicated teachers, leading to poor quality education and low academic performance. We urge your administration to prioritize education and take steps to address this issue.
We recommend that you increase the number of qualified teachers in our public schools, as well as provide training and support to ensure that they are effective in their roles. We also recommend that you establish a system for monitoring teacher performance and ensuring accountability.

Additionally, we recommend that you invest in educational infrastructure and facilities, to create a conducive learning environment for students. By doing that you will improve the quality of education in Katsina, and ensure that our students have access to the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.
The state of our hospitals and medical facilities is another area of concern in Katsina. Many of our hospitals lack the necessary equipment and resources to provide quality healthcare to our citizens. We urge your administration to prioritize healthcare and take steps to address this issue.
We recommend that you increase investment in healthcare, by allocating more resources to healthcare and working with development partners to secure funding for healthcare projects. We also recommend that you upgrade our medical facilities and provide the necessary equipment and resources to enable healthcare professionals to provide quality care to patients.
We recommend that you invest in training and support for healthcare professionals, to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality care.
By addressing this issue, you will improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Katsina, and ensure that they have access to quality healthcare when they need it.
Another challenge facing our state is the lack of education. Many children in Katsina do not have access to quality education, leading to low literacy rates and limited opportunities for personal and economic growth.
We urge your administration to prioritize education and take steps to address this issue. We recommend that you increase investment in education, by allocating more resources to education and working with development partners to secure funding for education projects or provide free education.
We also recommend that you create initiatives to promote education and raise awareness about the importance of education, particularly for girls. We recommend that you invest in educational infrastructure and facilities, to create a conducive learning environment for students.
By addressing this issue, you will improve the quality of life for the people of Katsina, and ensure that our children have access to the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.
Lastly, the lack of employment opportunities, particularly for young people. Many graduates in Katsina struggle to find employment, leading to high rates of unemployment and underemployment. We urge your administration to prioritize job creation and take steps to address this issue.
We recommend that you create initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and provide support for small and medium-sized enterprises, to create new job opportunities. we recommend that you invest in vocational and technical training, to equip young people with the skills needed to succeed in the job market.
By addressing this issue, you will improve the economic prospects of the people of Katsina, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Katsina is facing several challenges that require urgent attention and action. We urge your administration to prioritize education, healthcare, security, and other critical areas, and take steps to address these issues. By investing in these areas, you will improve the quality of life for the people of Katsina, and create opportunities for personal and economic growth.
We believe that with your leadership and commitment, we can overcome these challenges and build a better and a brighter future for Katsina. May Allah endow you with the strength, wisdom and good health to pilot the affairs of our dear State, in the most outstanding manner. Ameen!
