The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is currently seeking assistance from the state government to tackle this drug-related issue. According to the 2021 World Drug Report, Nigeria faces a potential surge in drug users.
The NDLEA has already secured 11 convictions against drug dealers and continues to investigate to arrest and prosecute other suspects.
