How I Was Bundled Out of Screening by Police Operatives, Says Ex-Kano Anti-Corruption Agency Boss

Immediate-past Chairman of the Kano State Anti-Corruption Commission, Bar. Muhuyi Magaji, has revealed more details about his arrest in Abuja, on Thursday.
Politics Digest learnt that Magaji was arrested by officers of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command, at the Sokoto State Governor’s Lodge, in Asokoro.
He was at the Lodge to be screened by his Party’s Governorship Screening Committee.

Magaji, who is in the race for the 2023 Kano State governorship race, has been at loggerhead with Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The anti-corruption czar turned politician, who Politics Digest learnt his being detained at the FCT Police Command presently, said it was after the policemen invaded their screening venue that he was issued a warrant of arrest.
He however, added that the offence he committed was not stated in the warrant.
Politics Digest gathered from dependable security sources that Magaji would be taken to Kano any moment from now, as the warrant ordering his arrest was issued from Kano.
