How We Treated 1,600 People With Eye Problem In Kano – Ahmadiyya Jama’at
POLITICS DIGEST– Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat has said that it has treated 1600 people with eye problem and had drilled more than 18 boreholes in Kano.
This was stated by the Imam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Kano during a press conference at PRNigeria Centre in Kano. Saying that, it is part of the humanitarian work they have been rendering around the world.
According to him Ahmadiyya Muslim community is helping people across the globe as it is doing in Kano.
“The community operated more than 1500 people with cataract with the affiliation of Humanity First. He further said that Jamat has spent more than 4 million naira palliatives in Nigeria during pandemic.

On his part, the Principal of Ahmadiyya College Dr Munawwar Ahmed Qayyum told press men that Ahmadiyya College has been producing the brightest students around the world at a very affordable fee.
Qayyum, who condemned the act of street begging in Kano called on government to address the problem as it is unislamic for a muslim to beg.
“ Ahmadiyya College is an avenue for producing qualitative education at cheapest price as part and parcel of our intention to educate less privilege in the society. It is the objective of the movement to give out charity and other works that will serve humanity. This is what we are doing and we will continue to do.
The Imam of Bauchi/Jos of the Jamaat Imam Amin Tahir told that boreholes were sunk in the remote areas of Azare and Bauchi for the needy by Jamat.
He further explained that Jamat has planned to feed the needy on the occasion of Sallah.
Mr. Qayyum further plead with the rich to pay zakat through the commission of Zakat and Hubusi council to tackle the poverty that led to social and evil vices.
A book about “Pathway to Peace” was introduced by Imam and distributed to the audience. This was followed by a Q/A session with some slides shown on the projector that highlighted Jamaat Ahmadiyya works.
