At 81, IBB Urges Nigerians to Unite, Remain Hopeful
POLITICS DIGEST- Basking in the euphoria of his 81st birthday, former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), has urged Nigerians to be patient with one another and continue to pray for the peace and progress of the nation.

He urged journalists to ignore politicians and other people who preach hate and disunity as election campaigns towards the 2023 general election become more intense.
Addressing reporters in Minna as part of events marking the celebration of his 81st birthday, Babangida said Nigerians should not give up hope for an end to the challenges bedevilling the country.
Sounding spiritual, he said: “This too shall pass.”
