Igbo Community in Kano Endorse Atiku
The Igbo Community and Association Leaders in Kano have endorsed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
This was stated during a consultation visit by frontline campaigner of Atiku Abubakar in Kano, Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Amin Little to the Eze Ndigbo Na Kano Ikechukwu Oliver Akpudo in his palace.
The Eze described Atiku Abubakar through his spokesman as a bridge builder who has worked for the unity of this country since time immemorial.
The Community that comprised of notable traders, business men and women assured the delegation of their maximum support to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
“As you can see, it’s days to election but nobody among us will move to his hometown to vote, this is where we vote together with our family, we stay here, our businesses are here.
Our prayers are for a peaceful election. We have decided that the current challenges facing the country can only be addressed by Atiku Abubakar.

I was a two term Councillor in Sabon Gari, I will mobilise to the best of my ability to see Atiku emerge victorious at the poll”. Said Madam Precious.
On his part, Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Amin Little noted that the Igbo Community are peace loving who have distinguished themselves in business, he knew them as one of the most hardworking people in the country.
He call on them to utilise their vote effectively so that they can reap the dividends of democracy together with their people.
“Atiku Abubakar will carry every ethnic group along, this country has done so much for him, therefore, he wants to give back to his country by providing effective and conducive leadership to Nigerians.
That’s why he’s married to an Igbo, a Yoruba, Kanuri etc. Waziri is someone that should be trusted by Nigerians for the interest of the nation and its unity”. He said.
Other members on the entourage include: Dr Auwalu Anwar, a policy adviser to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Alhaji Bashir Kalla.
