Imo Assembly Gets First APC Lawmaker
POLITICS DIGEST – The Imo state House of Assembly speaker, Collins Chiji, on Tuesday sworn in, Hon. Emeka Nduka, as the lawmaker, representing Ehime Mbano state constituency at the state House of Assembly, Owerri.
Following his inauguration, Nduka becomes the only lawmaker from the All Progressives Congress (APC) stock.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri, had ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return it had issued to former occupant of the seat and candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Mr. Lawman Duruji.
The appellant court contended that Nduka of the All Progressives Congress won the March 2, election in the state constituency.
The speaker, who congratulated Nduka, after he took the oath of office and allegiance, urged the new lawmaker to work for the interest of his constituents and the prosperity of the people of the state.
