Jamilu Gwamna’s wife, Zainab, to receive award of excellence on philanthropism
POLITICS DIGEST – Following its satisfaction with her philanthropic activities, a group, United Business Women Association (UBWA) of Nigerian and Diaspora has resolved to present an Ambassadorial Award of Excellence to Hajia Zainab Jamil Isyaku Gwamna.
The group said it came to the conclusion after examining countless supports to less privileged persons as well as her empowerment programmes for women in the society.
Hajia Zainab, the Executive Chairlady of Family Trust and Care Foundation and wife of Gombe politician, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, will receive the award alongside other recipients on April 24, 2021.

According to a statement by Gwamna’s media aide, Ibrahim Sani on Tuesday, UBWA is particularly interested in her act of kindness which has benefitted several children, while empowering women economically to ensure that their vulnerability to poverty was drastically reduced.
This, according to the statement has attracted for her several awards and earned her several recognitions and awards.
Zainab’s philanthropic activities through the foundation has covered different sectors of human endeavours, particularly education for children and supports to women groups.
She is also a mentor to many young minds, promoting girl-child education, while ensuring that girls are given the right platforms to escape the many challenges that prevent them from achieving greatness in life.
