Jibrin to Speak at Bola Tinubu 70th Birthday Youth Summit

POLITICS DIGEST- Former Member of the House of Representatives and Director General of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Group Management Council, Abdulmumin Jibrin, is billed to speak at the fourth Bola Tinubu Youth Summit in March.
The summit which is scheduled to take place in March 26th is themed: “Reinventing in our future, the role of young Nigerians in national development” and is being organised in commemoration of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 70th birthday.
Jibrin will grace the occassion as guest speaker.
A business man, academic, politician and public finance expert, Jibrin was a member of the House of Representatives (APC Kiru/Bebeji, Kano) and was at various times chairman, House Committee on Transport, Finance and Appropriations with oversight on Nigeria’s national income and expenditure over a period of 10years.
He was Executive Director Business Development at the Federal Housing Authority overseeing construction, property management, quality control, pre projects, housing program and public-private partnership units.
Jibrin led two successful speakership campaigns in 2015 and 2019.

He holds a BSc, MSc and PhD from University of Abuja and ABU Zaria respectively majoring in politics, diplomacy, business and political economy. He holds a PLD, SEP and MBA from Harvard, London Business school and SBS-Swiss Business School Zurich, Switzerland. He is an Alumni of the Havard, London and Swiss business schools.
Before joining politics, he was chairman/CEO of Green Forest Group LTD with interest in construction, agriculture, investments, energy and property development among others. He was Chairman (Nigeria) of Turkish construction giant Tasyapi and chairman Abuja branch of Nigeria-British chamber of commerce.
In 2012, he became the only Nigerian appointed into a 12-man Africa think-tank, Total Strategic Consultative Committee CCC.
He has worked in the CCC since 2012 alongside distinguished Africans that include former Prime Minister of Mozambique, Luisa Diago, former Governor of South Africa Central Bank and present Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni, former Chairman and President of Africa Export-Import Bank, Jean-Louis Ekra among other distinguished Africans.
Over the last 10 years, the think-tank has produced several position papers offering solutions to critical issues affecting Africa and Africans in areas of infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, finance, integration etc
He taught politics, political economy, Diplomacy, strategic studies among others in various universities pro bono and has 3 books to his credit including one with translation in French.
He has won numerous awards and he is a fellow of many professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control.
He is a Paul Harris fellow of Rotary international. He holds the traditional tittle of Jarman Bebeji, a title reserved for the courageous and the generous.
